Cover Notes
Unsigned, but a typical Colletta cover that shows his strengths and weaknesses. He was a master at surfaces. On this cover we see different patterns in the girls shirt, the man's scarf, the stone pattern in the wall and on the floor. Much of his drawing was old reused poses from Toth and his own previous work, but the finishing is creative to say the least. - Ger Apeldoorn

No Date for the Dance!

Notes: The girls faces are DeCarlo-like, so I guess it could be a story by Goldberg? Plain girl Jean is persuaded by her girlfriend to clean up and go to a society ball at the Waldorf Towers to try and catch a rich man. She meets a nice boy at the dance school and falls in love with him. But he isn't rich... or is he? - Ger Apeldoorn

Different as Day and Night!

Notes: Sequel appears in My Own Romance 43.
I think we discussed this one. Another Jean in this oen. She falls in love with Neil Elliott, a wonderful man who asks her to marry him... but they are completely different. She likes to do active things when she goes out... tennis and horseback riding... he likes to go to the theatre and other stuff you can do in the big city. When she meets his divorced mother she wonders if a marriage between two such different people can work. The readers are asked about their advice... and the story is resumed two issues later. - Ger Apeldoorn
