Touch Of Death

Notes: I looked at this a long time, feeling I should know the artist. And looked again. And again. Great inking, especially on the ghosts. Tonight it suddenly hit me... it's an early unsigned Reinman story. Quite obviously so, if you see it. The story is by Chapman and is his usual fare about a tortured soul... this time a grave digger who is so mad about money that when he accidentally frees a ghost from a grave and gets a wish, he wishes that everything he touches will turn to money. Like King Midas, it doesn't end well for him. - Ger A.

When Time Stood Still

Notes: Another story about someone who wants to be rich so badly he does something stupid. And it's not the last one in the book. - Ger A.

Behind The Mask

Notes: When the main character loans a mask that makes it possible for him to pretend he is a long lost tycoon, he decides not to bring it back and keep it on, fooling everyone... except the mysterious maskmaker. - Ger A.

The Ink Blots!

Notes: The main character is a deaf man, who gets a job as a stooge for a magician. For his job he has to pretend to fly around the stage by the power of the magician's wand. He does this in an oldfashioned red and blue superhero type long underwear suit, with an H on his chest (because his name is Hubert, it seems). No archetype as far as I know. He kills the magician to get the wand of course. - Ger A.
